There's no way to view a Twitter user's protected tweets, unless you have followed them and they've approved you as a follower. The only other way around this, would be to use someone else's Twitter account (Someone who's their follower, and of course with consent) to view the protected tweets.

In addition to respecting your privacy, Nitter is on average around 15 times lighter than Twitter, and in most cases serves pages faster (eg. timelines load 2-4x faster).
